The thing about doing more movies is that it is becoming less and less worthwhile or accommodating or lucrative. Gay porn doesn't pay well anymore. It used to be that it had the money draw for those of us who couldn't find a footing in straight porn. That ain't really happening anymore. Maybe the abundance of gay Internet has cheapened wages...because we know homosexuals value human dignity over making a buck like those sleazy, old insensitive straight porn producers, right?
Gay porn doesn't pay well anymoreAs far as porn work goes, gay-for-pay ain't what it used to be. And what's in it for me, if it doesn't pay? Nothing. N-o-t-h-i-n-g. In fact, some of these bastards actually pay less - less! - than female-centered normal porn.
So...to answer your queries of when might you see me in new stuff? Who knows. And if you're above private shows, then you probably won't be seeing much of me at all.
dont say that troy ... im sure there will always be a place for you no matter what :)
ReplyDeletedoes modelling pay as well or is that different to gay porn?
im just suggesting thats all :)
you already know ur a real cool guy with me and im always supportive of what u do ... times can be hard but we get through it
To put it in perspective, way back when I tried to get into porn some south Florida thug niche offered me $200 to do gay porn ("in order to prove I could do straight porn". Didn't fall for that bullshit line back then; and it doesn't surprise they still use it (wink, wink Jake Cruise)).
ReplyDeleteThat was roughly eight years ago.
TODAY - eight years later -, some companies have offered me $200 - whether dollars or euros, it's still too low - to not only do gay porn videos BUT actually had the gall to ask if I'd do it bareback. What, what?! Some readers who don't even have the balls to show their faces online let alone star in a pornographic picture will accuse me of over-reacting or being hard. Whatever. I only aim to please myself and clients. Back to porn producers: With cheap ass bridges like these multiplying in the industry I'd be more than happy to light the match to any of them.
sexy Troy
Maybe you would consider starting your own website and let people pay to see you?? That way you are always in control.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe there isn't much money in that either....?

To Artie:
ReplyDeleteNo, I'd like to do my own thing with my own website and tried to get something going but, nope, it never took off.
